Four more fights were announced for ONE FC: Rise of the Kingdom on Monday with lightweights Vuyisile Colossa and Caros Fodor set to rematch in the co-main event of the Sept. 12 card set for Phnom Penh.
The promotion’s first ever event in Cambodia is taking place at the Koh Pich Theatre and will be headlined by a flyweight title bout between Adriano Moraes and Geje Eustaquio, which is one of five matches currently on the card.
In the penultimate fight of the night, Colossa (7-4) and Fodor (9-4) will meet for the second time with the South African having scored a dominant decision win over the UFC and Strikeforce veteran at ONE FC: Moment of Truth late last year.
The card will also feature the promotional debut of Cambodian Australian Suasday Chau (4-3), who will be fighting in the country of his parents’ birth for the first time when he takes on charismatic Frenchman Arnaud Lepont (10-4) in a lightweight match.
The final two fights announced on Monday feature two of Singapore’s most exciting MMA prospects in Radeem Rahman (2-0) and Amir Khan (pro debut, 4-0 as an amateur). The former is taking on Taiwan’s Sung Ming Yen (3-1) in a bantamweight bout while the latter makes his pro debut against Malaysia Jian Kai Chee (4-4) in the featherweight division.
The remainder of the card is likely to consist of predominantly local fighters with four Cambodians set to contest a one-night 145-pound tournament and some of the top talent from local TV station CTN’s Sunday night fights also set to feature.
