UFC welterweight contender Rory MacDonald is finally clawing his way out of the shadow of his teammate Georges St-Pierre. Not only just because St-Pierre has stepped away from fighting, but because MacDonald is having success of his own, defeating the likes of Nate Diaz, BJ Penn, Jake Ellenberger, and Demian Maia. He hopes to add Tyron Woodley to his hit list at Saturday UFC 174 in Vancouver.
At a past Paradise Warrior Retreat weekend seminar, MacDonald explained some of the methods that have led him to such success, and you can check that out in the above video.
On July 12-13, The Paradise Warrior Retreat will bring to the fans of Mixed Martial Arts in Northern California a chance of a lifetime to socialize and train with some of the UFC and MMA’s best fighters and coaches during a two-day seminar at the Fit Expo at the convention Center in San Jose.
This upcoming seminar will include a star-studded cast of fighters and coaches that includes current Ultimate fighter coach Frankie Edgar, women’s bantamweight title contender Alexis Davis, men’s bantamweight title contender T.J. Dellashaw, UFC undefeated rising star and former Olympian Daniel Cormier, and one of MMA’s most exciting fighters, Luke Rockhold.
Ticket admission to train is only $300.00 for the entire two-day weekend. A buyer has the option to attend just one day for a price of $165.00.
