Shogun Rua vs James Te Huna UFCFN33A light heavyweight match-up between former division champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Jimi Manuwa is being targeted for the Nov. 8 UFC card in Brazil, according to a report on Wednesday.

According to UFC Tonight, the 205-pound bout will likely be added to the UFC Fight Night event, which is scheduled to take place in Uberlândia, Brazil. The UFC is yet to announce the pairing.

Rua (22-9) last fought last in March against Dan Henderson in a rematch of their epic first bout from 2011. The results of both fights were the same with Henderson taking the win, but the second bout featured Henderson finishing Shogun in memorable fashion with a massive right hand that led to the technical knockout. Rua broke his nose from the massive blow.

Manuwa (14-1) was on a rise through the weight class before his last bout, a meeting with top contender Alexander Gustafsson. In the fight, Manuwa went to the second round before suffering the TKO and his first career loss.

UFC Fight Night Brazil is officially without a main event at this time, but a fight between Rafael Cavalcante and Ovince St. Preux is scheduled for the card.

You’re know-it-all comments from your lofty armchair are meaningless, they only serve to show how arrogant, condescending, and disrespectful you are.
