UFC bouts keep streaming down the pipeline, the latest of which is an addition to the UFC on Versus 6 fight card slated for Oct. 1 in Washington, DC.
British submission master Paul Sass squares off with TUF 12 lightweight Michael Johnson on the card. UFC officials announced the bout via their U.K. twitter account on Thursday.
Sass has a spotless record with 11 victories to no losses. Of those 11 wins, 10 have been submissions, the majority by way of triangle choke. Sass made his Octagon debut at UFC 120 this past October in London, but UFC on Versus 6 marks the first fight of his professional career outside of his home country.
Johnson (9-5) came to the UFC by way of “The Ultimate Fighter Season 12,” where he lost in the finale to Jonathan Brookins. He bounced back at the recent UFC on Versus 4, however, scoring a first-round, TKO victory over Edward Faaloloto.
The headliner for UFC on Versus 6 has yet to be announced, but the card also features a rematch between Mac Danzig and Matt Wiman, as well as a welterweight showdown pitting Charlie Brenneman against Anthony Johnson.
