Two new bouts were announced for the upcoming UFC on Versus 4 card in Pittsburgh with young Brazilian Charles Oliveira taking on Nik Lentz, and Matt Riddle facing Canadian T.J. Grant.
The UFC officially announced the new match-ups on Wednesday.
Charles Oliveira returns to action after suffering the first loss of his pro career last year to top ten lightweight Jim Miller. Prior to that, Oliveira had won his previous fights in the Octagon, including a victory over former “Ultimate Fighter” winner Efrain Escudero.
Nik Lentz, who is undefeated through six bouts in the UFC, will look to keep his winning streak going when he faces Oliveira in June.
Also added to the card is former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor Matt Riddle who returns following his “Fight of the Night” performance from last year’s UFC 124 event in Montreal. Riddle lost a battle with Sean Pierson on the card, but still pocketed a nice payday for a bonus after the two put on an absolute show for the Montreal crowd.
T.J. Grant faces Riddle on the UFC on Versus 4 card coming off a loss of his own from the same card last year where he was defeated by Ricardo Almeida. The grappler will look to get back on track facing Riddle in Pittsburgh.
