UFC on FX 6 Medical Suspensions: Mendes Pierce, Several Others Face Possible Six-Months Off

The UFC on FX 6: Sotiropoulos vs. Pearson medical suspensions were released on Tuesday to MMAWeekly.com by UFC officials since the promotion self-regulated the event in Australia.

Every fighter on the card received at least the mandatory 21-day suspension with no contact, while several other fighters received what could end up being six-month suspensions unless they gain prior clearance.

Robert Whittaker: Suspended for 180 days unless cleared by a negative right hand x-ray.

Rousimar Palhares: Suspended for 180 days unless his right foot is cleared by an orthopedic doctor.

Chad Mendes: Suspended for 180 days unless cleared by a negative left foot x-ray.

Joey Beltran: Suspended for 180 days unless cleared by a negative right hand x-ray.

Mike Pierce: Suspended for 180 days unless cleared by a Maxillofacial surgeon. Faces a minimum suspension of 30 days with no contact for 21 days.

Brendan Loughnane: Suspended for 180 days unless cleared by a negative left foot x-ray.

Mike Wilkinson: Suspended for 180 days unless cleared by a negative TMJ x-ray.
