Yasuhiro Urushitani vs. John Lineker
Round 1: Both fighters come out kicking, Lineker landing a couple low kicks before Urushitani lands up high. Still kind of feeling each other out midway through the round, but Urushitani shows amazing speed with his kicks before landing a knee to the midsection. Lineker is now trying to find position to set up his punches. Urushitani doing a good job moving around, avoiding Lineker’s punches, while driving in with knees to the body and kicks to Lineker’s legs. Lineker, however, answers back with a left hook that drops Urushitani. Urushitani gets back up, but is still a little dazed, as he makes it to the end of the round. Round 2: Urushitani goes immediately back to his low and body kicks, but Lineker lands the first hard blow of the round, visibly hurting Urushitani with a spinning back kick to the body. Lineker keeps the pressure on with his punch combinations, working Urushitani to the body and setting up some shots to the head. Urushitani is now out of his groove a bit, Lineker scoring with several powerful punches, mixing it up from body to head and back. The pace slows down and Urushitani takes a poke to the eye. They pause briefly, but restart rather quickly. Lineker goes right back to his combinations, mixing in some low kicks now. Urushitani is trying to et his kicking game going again, but Lineker keeps coming forward, pressing, and taking Urushitani out of his game. Good round for Lineker. Round 3: Lineker not playing it safe, immediately starts to press forward again, and lands the right hand, planting Urushitani on his backside. He immediately returns to his feet, but Lineker returns to pressing forward and landing punch combinations. Urushitani keeps firing back, but Lineker starts landing the power shots, rocking Urushitani on the fence, who somehow remains on his feet. Urushitani starts to recover, but Lineker keeps up the pressure. Urushitani attempts a takedown, but Lineker presses him on the fence and jackhammers home several left hands to the face. They separate and return to the center of the Octagon, Urushitani still trying to find a way to get back in this fight, landing a solid left hand, but Lineker just keeps his pace up, continually landing his punch combinations as the fight comes to an end.
