Posted on by MMAWeekly.com Staff

UFC on Fuel TV 3 - Dustin Poirier and Korean Zombie Chan Sung JungThe UFC on Fuel TV 3: Korean Zombie vs. Poirier fighter salaries were released to MMAWeekly.com by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.

The main event at Tuesday’s event at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., featured an impressive submission victory by Chan Sung Jung (aka the Korean Zombie) over fellow featherweight contender Dustin Poirier.

Obviously these guys are making a lot of their money from sponsorships, but it still makes me cringe to see what Poirier made. These dudes need a union like MLB, NFL, etc. so they don’t get locked into these pathetic contracts early in their career, but also, other professionals are not allowed to turn their “uniform” into a billboard. I’ll bet most guys on a main card are doing okay.
