Tuesday night was not the best Dustin Poirier the world as seen, and the young featherweight contender is humble enough to admit that after only his second loss under the Zuffa banner.

Poirier lost by submission to ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung at UFC on Fuel 3, and following the fight admitted that he didn’t have his best night.

Check out what Poirier had to say about the fight, his strategy and what he learns from this loss:

This dude is a class act and will be champ someday. He got rocked early and was outclassed in this fight. If they fight again down the road I think it would be a different outcome.

Poirier’s got nothing to hang his head about. That was a great showing, it was just Jung’s night. Great fight! Can’t wait to see him in action again.

Just so you know, The Guardian Angels of MMA have cursed all Louisiana Fighters until they accept the True Way and pay tribute to “The King of All-Shaman-Ninjas”. I’m the Rule, no exceptions. badninja9(dot)com
