The UFC on Fox 3 card is filling up fast with the latest addition being a middleweight bout between New Jersey’s own Mike Massenzio as he takes on Karlos Vemola.

UFC officials announced the new bout on Thursday.

Mike Massenzio will fight at home in New Jersey when he makes his next appearance at UFC on Fox 3 after traveling all the way to Brazil for his last fight.

Massenzio fell victim to Rousimar Palhares while in Brazil, but hopes to bounce back with a fight at home against a middleweight newcomer.

Karlos Vemola will drop to middleweight after going 1-2 during his stint as a light heavyweight in the UFC.

Vemola last fought at UFC on Versus 5 last August before being sidelined with various delays, but now he’s dropping to 185lbs and hoping for a rebirth in the Octagon.

Massenzio vs. Vemola will be part of the UFC on Fox 3 undercard, which will likely air on Fuel TV and Facebook on Saturday May 5 from the IZOD Center in New Jersey.

He went 1-1 as a light heavyweight, the Jon Madsen fight was at heavyweight.

But this makes no sense. He was pretty big as a heavyweight and huge as a light heavyweight. And against Markes he gassed after three minutes, hes cardio will prbably be terrible at middleweight.

Vemola is moving down to 185?

    Wow

    That’s not good!
