On Wednesday, UFC confirmed two new lightweight bouts have been added to the UFC on Fox 16 event on July 25 in Chicago. Fox Sports first reported the matchups.

The Ultimate Fighter 13 runner up Ramsey Nijem (9-5) faces Erik Koch (14-4) at the United Center while Danny Castillo (17-8) takes on Rustam Kabilov (17-3).

Nijem has won two of his last three outings, but is coming off a loss to Carlos Diego Ferreira at UFC 177. UFC on Fox 16 will be Nijem’s first fight in 2015 and hopes to start a winning streak against Koch.

Koch returned to the lightweight division in 2014 after suffering back-to-back losses as a featherweight. He won his return bout against Rafaello Oliveira but was knocked out by Daron Cruickshank in his last outing. He expects to get back on the winning track against Nijem.

Castillo and Khabilov were expected to meet at UFC 182 in January, but Khabilov was removed from the event due to visa issues. Castillo remained on fight card, but was knocked out by Paul Felder. He hopes to rebound in the rescheduled bout with Khabilov.

Khabilov is coming off back-to-back losses. He had a six-fight winning streak snapped when he faced Benson Henderson at UFC Fight Night 42 and come up short against Adriano Martins, losing by split decision in his last octagon appearance. He hopes to start a new winning streak when he faces Castillo in Chicago.

A bantamweight title fight between champion T.J. Dillashaw and former titleholder Renan Barao headline UFC on Fox 16.
