The Kruass-Khaliev bout was scheduled to take place on the undercard for the Chicago card, but was scrapped for undisclosed reasons.
A replacement fight will soon be announced by the organization, according to company officials.
Krauss (11-2) was set to find a way back into the win column with UFC on Fox 10, after having lost his previous fight to Hyun Gyu Lim at UFC 164 in August of last year. The German fighter is 2-2 in the Octagon.
Khaliev (7-0) was on tap to make his Octagon debut with the Jan. 25 card. All of the fighter’s previous professional bouts took place in his homeland of Russia.
