UFC UK needs some big-name international talent to mix in with the local boys. Ogle is not the kind of headline fight I’m going to pay £75 and up to see. Nothing against the guy – maybe even put him and Pickett early on the main card. Headliners? – nah.

It’s hard to say what in all they will do with this card. It is poised to be a Fuel TV card, so don’t expect anything too huge for a headliner. But I agree, neither Ogle or Pickett is really headline material at this point.

Maybe Dan Hardy or someone of that ilk?

Matt Hughes vs Paul Daley would be a good fight (local boy vs big name) but would involve uncle Dana backing down from his judge’n’jury ego-fuelled lifetime ‘Semtex’ ban.

Aside from zuffa just releasing Daley from his contract, I doubt either of those two would want that fight. Ken, I think your suggestion of Dan hardy is spot on. Throw terry etim on the card as well. Maybe even try to get their hands on kong Watson, the UK talent in the UFC needs a stimulus.
