Chael Sonnen has kept quiet since the California State Athletic Commission suspended him for a positive drug test for his fight with Anderson Silva at UFC 117.
The commission suspended him for one year and fined him $2,500.
Sonnen and his legal team met with the CSAC last week to plead his case. The outcome resulted in his suspension being reduced to six months, but the fine remained intact.
Sonnen on Friday spoke with HDNet’s Mike Straka in an interview that aired on Inside MMA, where he talked about his suspension, the hearing, and how he feels about the situation now.
