UFC Fight Night 71 Fighter Salaries: Frank Mir Lords Over $886,000 Payroll

Former two-time UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir continued his resurgence at UFC Fight Night 71 last Wednesday, and his hefty payday reflected the longevity of his career.

Mir fought a back-and-forth, albeit brief, battle with Todd Duffee, but ended up on the winning end of the slugfest, leaving Duffee face down on the canvas. It was the twenty-seventh fight of his career and his twenty-fifth in the Octagon.

UFC Fight Night 71: Mir vs. Duffee took place on Wednesday, July 15, at the Valley View Casino in San Diego, Calif.

The California State Athletic Commission released the fighter salaries to MMAWeekly.com on Monday.
