Max Holloway extended his win streak on Saturday, defeating Cole Miller in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 60 in Broomfield, Colo.

Holloway proved to have the advantage in the stand-up game, overwhelming Miller on the way to a unanimous decision with scores of 29-28, 29-28 and 30-27.

The two started off by trading leg kicks while Holloway took center Octagon. After some exchanges where Holloway scored with more strikes, the fight went to the ground where Miller attempted attacking the leg for a submission. The fight briefly returned to the feet before the end of the round.

More exchanges came in the second round. After landing a solid spinning punch, Holloway landed an inadvertent head butt that brought a hold to the action. When the fight resumed, Holloway continued getting the edge on the feet.

The third round had Holloway opening up the offense even more so than he did in the first two rounds. Towards the end of the frame, he threw two spinning wheel kicks on his way to being announced as the winner.

With Saturday’s win, Holloway wins his fifth in a row.
