Turns out, Dollaway was more than up to it.
Ferreira had the utmost confidence coming into the fight, and it showed from the opening bell. He stormed Dollaway, swinging for the knockout. He backed Dollaway up with a couple hard punches and a head kick, but Dollaway slowed him for a moment by responding with a left hook.
It didn’t take long for Ferreira to regroup and mount another attack, but again Dollaway again answered, this time flooring Ferreira with a right-left hook combination. He didn’t hesitate, leaping on Ferreira and finishing in flurry, as the referee stepped in to stop the fight.
“Obviously my stand-up game is developing,” said Dollaway, who comes from a stellar wrestling pedigree. “We’re gonna work our way into the Top 10 this year.”
