UFC Fight Night 38 Attendance: Fight Card Draws Nearly 7,000 in First Trip to Natal
UFC Fight Night 38 garnered 6,828 spectators for the company’s Sunday evening event in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
The Brazilian crowd witnessed a main event that had one of their local favorites, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, succumb to a technical knockout by Dan Henderson in the third round.
The Shogun vs. Henderson bout was a rematch of their UFC 139 bout from November 2011, a fight that also saw Henderson come out on top.
In the co-main event on Sunday, C.B. Dollaway stopped Cezar Ferreira in the first round, knocking out The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil winner.
UFC Fight Night 38 was the organization’s first trip to Natal.
