“In my last fight I felt very tired, but this time I did my work right and I prepared better. I didn’t feel the pressure and I got the win. I think I won the first and third rounds, but I would have given the second round to him. He has very heavy hands.”
“I thought I won, but you can’t leave it in the hands of the judges. We’ll see what the UFC wants, I hope they liked it. The fact he was able to stay so fast and explosive surprised me. Even though I could see he was tired in round three, he was still fast when he wanted to be. You don’t see that very often. I’ve fought the hometown hero probably three times in my career and I build off that. When they were cheering him, I was feeling it.”
