UFC Fight Night 36 Adds Two New Welterweight and Lightweight Bouts to Brazilian Fight Card

UFC Brazil FlagUFC Fight Night 36 garnered two new fights for its Feb. 15 card in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil, UFC officials announced on Tuesday.

Viscardi Andrade will face Nicholas Musoke in a welterweight match-up, and Cristiano Marcello will tangle with Joe Proctor in lightweight action.

Andrade (17-5) is fresh off a finish of Bristol Murande at UFC 163. With a TKO of Murande, Andrade picked up the win in his UFC debut, and his seventh overall.

Musoke (11-2, 1 N.C.) was also successful in his UFC debut, a win last month over Alessio Sakara at UFC Fight Night 30. The Swedish fighter finished Sakara with an armbar to take home a first-round win.

Marcelo (13-5) and Proctor (8-2) both participated in The Ultimate Fight Live, the 15th season of the UFC’s reality series. Both  are coming off of losses: Marcelo to Kazuki Tokudome in March, and Proctor to Ramsey Najim 11 months ago in December 2012.

UFC Fight Night 36 will take place at the Arena Jaragua.
