Every time they do a show in Brazil I get annoyed trying to figure out whether the “R”s in the fighters’ names are pronouced as an R or an H.

    • Madmmax

Sound like an H if it’s at the beginning of a word or if the word has a double R. Other wise it should sound like a reg R. For instance Royce Gracie. The R in Royce sounds like H. In Gracie would be regular. Car in Portuguese is carro. The Double R sounds like a H sound in English. You should no longer be annoyed

But isn’t the double R in Ferreira’s name pronounced as a hard R and not the soft H?

        • Madmmax

Not sure what a hard R is, but it’s pronounced like a H is Hey. Fe- hey- ra
