Chan Sung Jung didn’t have a second slugging match with Leonard Garcia as most expected their rematch at UFC Fight Night 24 would be. He did, however, pull off the Submission of the Night, finishing Garcia with a submission that no one had ever pulled off in the Octagon before… and with one second left on the clock.
Eddie Bravo’s patented Twister submission is a move that Jung had studied for quite some time – primarily on YouTube – and had been anxious to pull off in a fight in the Octagon.
He accomplished that on Saturday night, scoring a $55,000 post-fight bonus for his efforts.
