It has been another huge weekend for mixed martial arts, particularly in the United Kingdom. The Ultimate Fighting Championship made their return, while at the same time Europe’s biggest promotion, Cage Rage, continued their run.

As well, the upsets have continued. Gabriel Gonzaga entered the Octagon and “Cro Copped” Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic with a stunning head kick in Manchester, England. On a less surprising note, James Zikic surprised Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos at Cage Rage, winning the Light Heavyweight Championship before a packed house in London.

Meanwhile, “Tank” Abbott kept his streak intact, losing as a last minute replacement to Gary Turner, an experienced K-1 rules kickboxer.

Listen in LIVE tonight at 6pm PT / 9pm ET as Damon & Jeff recap a very busy weekend in mixed martial arts at MMAWeeklyRadio.com.
