Las Vegas, NV- MMAWeekly.com was on location from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the UFC 98 weigh-ins where all fighters made weight for Saturday’s event.
Rashad Evans puts his title on the line for the first time against fellow undefeated fighter Lyoto Machida, and Evans comes in as the betting underdog.
“I don’t bother me at all,” Evans said about being the underdog. “I go out that and try to put on a good fight, and do what I’ve got to do and leave it all out there. That’s all that’s important.”
“I trained very hard for this fight. I’m very calm,” said Machida addressing the crowd. “I don’t worry about his technique. I don’t worry. I just worry with my technique. Please cheer for me tomorrow night.”
Mike Pyle was a late replacement filling in for Chris Wilson against Brock Larson. Pyle didn’t step on the scales during the official weigh-in, but did make weight shortly after.
