UFC 182 Fighter Bonuses: Paul Felder’s Stunning KO Earns a Post-Fight Honor

UFC 182: Jones vs. Cormier may not have delivered the blockbuster attendance that promotion officials would have liked on Saturday night, but there were some standout performances that netted four fighters the usual $50,000 post-fight bonuses.

Paul Felder Post-UFC 182Considering it was a title fight that went all five rounds, Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier took home the Fight of the Night honors.

It was a battle from the opening bell with Jones and Cormier locked in a back and forth battle for the first three rounds, while Jones started to takeover in the final two rounds as Cormier faded a bit.

The fight may not have lived up the expectation that it would be the greatest “UFC fight ever,” but it was good enough for the bonus.

The two Performance of the Night bonuses went to two of the only three victors to score finishes in their fights.

Paul Felder knocked out Danny Castillo in the preliminary bout headliner on the FOX Sports 1 broadcast, while Shawn Jordan also scored a knockout in his victory over Jared Cannonier in one of the other televised prelims.

    i never heard of Paul Felder before but his Muy Thai looked sharp and im looking forward to seeing him again.

      couldnt agree more and he looks like one tough dude…but he wasn’t challenged too to much. Would love to see him work off his back and work out of some submissions…PF has alot of potential…

        while watching i’m thinking to myself “wow, he fights like cowboy” only to find out he trains with donald. the fact that he wasn’t challenged much by someone like castillo lends a lot of credence to your assessment of potential. i think he’s someone people are gonna dodge until they figure out what his ground game looks like.
