Travis Browne got back on the winning track with a technical of Brendan Schaub at UFC 181 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Browne stifled Schaub with strikes on the ground before getting the stoppage at 4:50 of the opening round.

The two heavyweights duked it out for the first half of the round, making near-knockout moments for the first 150 seconds. It wasn’t until Browne landed a counter uppercut when the fight’s momentum quickly shifted.

Travis-Browne-UFC-168-Post-Press750Schaub fell to the floor and Browne pursued. While there, Browne transitioned to nearly every position he wanted while controlling Schaub, landing hammer fists and other strikes from numerous angles.

After securing Schaub’s back, Browne continued the offensive onslaught with strikes from behind before earning the TKO with the referee’s stoppage.

    Brendan Schaub is terrible.

I want to see Browne vs Cain. Turdum is a joke.

I’ve been saying this for years in that Brendan slob Schaub is terrible with a weak jaw. Schaub and Pat barry are the same fighters look good till hit and then submit or go to sleep. Most tough men in the street beat Brendan Slob Schaub who will be cut and end up a Bellator fighter or in the WSOF.
