“I thought he would come out more explosively in the first round but he wasn’t able to turn it on until the third. Going into this fight I knew that I was going to have to put him against the fence and grind him out. Feijao is one of the hardest hitters in the division and I wanted to take away that one punch KO power. I had to make it an ugly fight tonight and wrestle him. I was able to stick to the game plan. I threw a lot of jabs and kept moving because he can end it with one shot. My cardio was great thanks to my coaches and an awesome training camp. I wish I could’ve let loose a little more for the fans but I had to look for the win out there tonight.”
