Despite a stellar collegiate wrestling pedigree, most UFC fans don’t have Patrick Durkin Cummins on their radar. That all will change now that he has stepped in for an injured Rashad Evans. Cummins will square off with Daniel Cormier at UFC 170 on Saturday, Feb. 22, in Las Vegas.

Meet UFC newcomer, and Daniel Cormier’s new opponent at UFC 170, Patrick Durkin Cummins.

How is it possible to have such a stupid name and be as Coky and believe he may have large success in the UFC?? Is he the brother of Donald Duck!

  • Ks

Explain “cocky” there bud. He seems like a pretty humble guy to me.

  • I don’t like Cormier but Cummins is going to get man-handled.

    • Milosc

He isn’t a regular person. He’ll put up a fight

      • MuayThaiFood

In the ring with Cormier he’s going to look pretty regular. People really underestimate him. He’s going to be at a much better weight class and he did pretty well against the big boys.

Here is a link to the Results from the 2007 Dave Schulz Freestyle memorial tournament where cormier beat Cummins 7-0.

beating him in the room doens’t equate to the live matches.

LoL… Internet Genius, did you really read it?

“Daniel Cormier (Gator Wrestling Club) won by decision over Pat Cummins (NYAC) 3-0,4-0”

      • Reread

        Correction that equals 7-0…..

      • King Of The Spread

Good job making yourself look like an ass.

International Freestyle Wrestling consist of two 3 min periods with a 1 min. rest between them. Each period is scored individually but since they are periods of a match not individual matches – the scores are combined there fore making the match score 7-0 in favor of Cormier.

No different than football scores are shown with the total from every quarter.

        Just the Facts.

If you cant add 3 + 4 … You might be REDNECK !!! it is 7 btw you idiot!!!

  • danksy

He sounds like he has a lot of heart, see if he delivers.

  • MuayThaiFood

Seems like a likable guy but I give him NO chance. The best he can hope for is not to embarrass himself. He has 4 fights against real cans (one guy 0-3, another 5-15) In other words he, he hasn’t been in a fight yet. I’ll be shocked if he makes it out of the first round. He is going to eat a couple of big shots and he’ll be serving up some of his own……espresso that is if he can get his job back. He has no idea what he’s in for. What the hell were Dana and Joe Silva thinking? Knockout or TKO 1st round.
