Two former United States Olympians meet in the main event of UFC 170 on Feb. 22, as judo bronze medalist Ronda Rousey defends her UFC women’s bantamweight title against freestyle wrestling silver medalist Sara McMann. This battle of unbeatens will mark Rousey’s toughest test yet, but “Rowdy” is unquestionably up for the challenge.

Plus, another former Olympian, Daniel Cormier makes his light heavyweight debut against fellow unbeaten and former wrestling rival Patrick Cummins.

UFC 170: Rousey vs McMann takes place Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, and airs live on pay-per-view.

  1. Anyone notice on the TV commercial that Goldy says Rousey is “the first female to win an olympic medal in Judo” and that McMann is an olympic silver medalist.

Funny they don’t mention that Rousey won bronze as compared to McManns silver…

    • Dude, the Olympians are at such a high level that the difference between winning a Bronze, Silver or Gold medal is actually extremely small, performance-wise.

      • I agree…I just find it funny that they dont mention that Rousey won a bronze compared to McManns Silver…Its just marketing BS.

  2. McMann looks like some indians that took on Custer at the Little Big Horn.

  3. Rousey losing would be great as Mcmann is humble and more acceptable. Rousey turned off the fan base with her crudeness and profane comments.

  4. I hope McMann is training with a good team of trainers from different specialties. If she is just doing the average “MMA school” thing…with one MMA coach who is an expert in nothing, but has fight experience and thinks he can teach all aspects of this level of fighting…then McMann is going to lose.

I really want Mcmann to win.

If McMann’s fight camp is smart…they will have brought in a high level Jiu Jitsu trainer…a seperate boxing coach…elite wrestlers, a conditioning expert…etc.
