UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey maintained her stranglehold on the division with a first-round stoppage of fellow former Olympian Sara McMann on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. (Watch highlights of the Rousey vs. McMann fight here.)

Daniel Cormier made his successful light heavyweight debut in the night’s co-main event, quickly stopping short-notice replacement Patrick Cummins, who subbed in for an injured Rashad Evans. (Watch highlights of the Cormier vs. Cummins fight here.)

And don’t forget the mount for about 1-2 mins! He showed great skill, patience and BJJ defense. Maia didnt win 5 world BJJ championships by fluke! I knew Rory F’d up his ankle, when Maia kicked his inside leg, you seen Rory almost break off his ankle, I told my buddies I thought he had broken his ankle in half, but he seemed fine during the fight. Proves that adrenaline works wonders!!!

True, I had a severe sprain on my left ankle and was able to finish a basketball game. Afterward it hurt like hell. I never liked Rory, felt he was smug and too self entitled. However this fight kinda made me a fan.
