QUOTES

William Macario:
“I just felt really good out there. I was loose and was able to implement our game plan. I’m dedicating this fight to my community in Brazil. Voelker is an experienced guy who can take a serious punch so I knew I had to train hard for this one. I just want to thank my coaches and everyone who supported me for this camp.”

Bobby Voelker:
“I knew he won the first but I thought he was going to gas as the fight moved forward. He gassed a little but he was able to keep his distance and exploit his range to keep me on the outside. He pretty much did whatever he wanted to me. The cut affected my vision but I don’t know if it really would have affected the outcome. Hats off to him.”
