Gustafsson will knock out Jones just like Chris did last night proving that he wasn’t Forrest Griffin or Steffen Bonner. Chris was the first one that was as long and tall as Anderson well guess what Gustafsson is as long at tall as Jones with double the striking skills and all he has to do is rock Jones to throw off his take downs and it is over.

Gus is also the youngest challenger Bones will have to date. He might be physically stronger also.

    • shakejunt

gus got anaconda’d by phil davis, you don’t think jon jones will choke him out too?

      • GiinoStenLund

Cmon man that was a few years ago..

        • shakejunt

ok and the only wrestler he has faced since is one who forgot how to wrestle.

I’m pulling hard for the Mauler. I’ve liked his previous fights and he’s a Swede, so I gotta root hometown. He’s the closest in height & reach that Jones will have faced, has some of the best footwork of any of his opponents. He’ll do what Hendo said he would and see if Jones can take a hit. Bones is a beast, but his chin hasn’t really been tested yet and Gustaffson’s the one to put a hit on it, on top of having some great td def and nice td’s of his own. Can’t wait to see this one!

i like Gus alot and don’t care for Jon so much but i think this is to soon for Gus to take on Jon, i think Gus should warm up more on Shogun or the Dragon befor messn’ with Bones. I’m pulling for Gus but fear the worst. i only hope if he doesn’t win that he will get another chance later.

you realize he has beaten shogun right?

  • mattfoley

Jones is going to kill him with elbows

What a shiddy card, the baby weights are ruining ppv!

    • shakejunt

      yeah i hate title fights!

  • NotShocked

just checked for tickets. 3 weeks out and you can get a seat anywhere

  • safari_punch

After Jones smashes this chump, it’s time for him to take some heavyweight fights.

  • Hugh Shakeshaft

Gus just needs to go in there relaxed and fight like he did against Shogun and Jones will have his toughest challenge yet. If he comes in like Lyoto and Evans, waiting to counter Bones and sitting back, things will go badly for Gus.

I’d love to see what Jones does at heavyweight

I really dont care for Jon Jones but I don’t see Gustaffson doing much of anything threatening here…realistically Gustaffson is a dowgraded version of Jones in every regard…also talk about how he beat Shogun…Shogun sucks, I fully understand that he did not in 2005, but now he does and beating Shogun is a lot like GSP era fighters beating Matt hughes, not a huge feat, and in doing so it’s not like he destroyed him…I know the transitive property does not always apply here in fights but Jones took Shogun out with ease while Gustaffson just beat him, not impressively, IMO, at all. I hope i’m wrong, but frankly I’d like to see Cormier come to 205 and be the one to take it…or Silva move up and do it…a fleeting dream I am coming to realize.

***** ******* ******. The UFC has showed their ugly false greedy face and CHANGED their stats for the fight. Miraculously Jones now leads with 28 significant strikes. Against the 78 significant strikes lead Gustafsson used to have. This is a scandal. F**********k I so loved the UFC to see it now as it really is hurts as hell. Hope for a change in leadership will clean out the cancer Mr White has brought.
