  • silva vs weidman who knows??
    Kennedy vs gracie – 50/50
Munoz vs. boetsch – not sure either

    • MMAMA

I know. Silva. He will beat Weidman… they UFC keeps trying to push these guys who can ‘uncrown the king’, but beyond the fact I rate Weidman as a fighter – he’s very good – Silva has fought his kind before and dominated. He’ll do so again.

Looking forward to Frankie fighting, too!

      • PhranktheTank

As far as silva fighting weidman’s kind before and dominating, I would have to disagree. The closest fighter to weidman he’s fought is Sonnen. I’m not saying weidman will win, but I do think he has a better chance than anyone silva has fought before.

      • Baller31

Silva has never fought anyone remotely like Weidman. He has fought two wrestlers in the UFC, Henderson and Sonnen, and lost rounds to both of them. He also submitted both of them, but no way he can submit Weidman, he will need to knock him out to win.

        • FightSmart

Sonnen and Henderson are better wrestlers than Weidman. The only thing different with Weidman is that he is faster paced, he tries to get the dominant position whereas Sonnen and Hendo can hold them in one place and grind them down. It’s an advantage and also a disadvantage, Weidman finding the dominant position makes him more vulnerable for a submission. Not as much wrist control. Anderson is a great submission artist and Weidman trains with Renzo Gracie and Matt Serra. It’s anyone’s game from the ground or standing up

    • Lucas Freire

I’m on Boetsch’s side. He’s a fighter who is climbing to the top the honest way and is always underrated. Putting him against the most hyped fighter of the division is like a dream to me.
If he learned anything from the Okami fight, he’ll be able to snatch a win against Munoz

      • if weidman would have fought boetsch at ufc 155 i would have a better idea of who would win between him and munoz

        • Mike

Silva HAS fought someone alot like Weidman minus the hype. Nate Marquart. Athletic power punchers, with solid subs and solid wreslting.

Though I’d give.the wrestling edge.to weidman on that one. But.beyond being over hyped. I see a strong.opponent. He will have to hold silva down for 5rd to win.

Weidman is too stiff standing. He could catch silva with a hook. But silva will stay outside catch him with a backsteo cross, and finish with a.flurry. weidman is too stiff and slow footwork to do that. Has to take a card from gsps playbook
Lay and orey … and avoid stand up exchanges.

why is mike pierce on the facebook prelims? did he do something wrong to get bumped to the worse part of prelims?

    • he’s a boring fighter FX prelims are designed for exciting fighters like leben and barboza to deliver and get casual fans to buy the pay per view

  • a9fingdad

facebook aint the worst part heck the prelims have been allot better than the main card recently

  • charlie

Anderson thought he could show Weidman how things are done and Weidman showed him how to knock a clown, wow!! I saw weidmans family, mom, dad, sis and his wife pretty excited, this is Mrs. Weidman’–> http://fabwags.com/marivi-weidman-mma-fighter-chris-weidman-wife/ not surprise that Dayane wasn’t there she hardly attends but still this is her http://fabwags.com/dayane-silva-mm-anderson-silva-wife/
