Dennis Bermudez vs. Tommy Hayden
Round 1: The two featherweights touch gloves at the center of the cage. Hayden pumps his jab trying to establish range. Bermudez looks to clinch but Hayden moves away. Hayden moves in with a flying knee that misses and Bermudez drops down and secures a single leg takedown. He elevated Hayden and slammed him to the canvas. Hayden works butterfly guard and gets back to his feet. Bermudez moves in with a right hand. Hayden counters with a left and goes for a takedown. Bermudez stuffs it. They scramble back to their feet. Two minutes remain in the round. Hayden jumps in with a knee that lands and drops Bermudez. Hayden jumps on him and takes his back. Hayden goes for an arm bar and Bermudez stands and slams him to the canvas, breaking free from the submission attempt. Bermudez lands a few short punches on the ground before letting Hayden up. Bermudez moves in with a front kick to the body that may have hurt Hayden. Hayden goes for a takedown and gets caught in a guillotine choke. Hayden taps out. Bermudez wins by submission, a standing guillotine choke.
