Round 1: No touch of the gloves in this one.  Lombard takes the center of the cage.  Boetsch works on the outside.  He uses a front kick. Boetsch goes for a takedown and Lombard stuffs it.  Boetsch gets to his feet but eats an uppercut in the process.  Lombard secures a takedown.  Boetsch gets back to his feet.  They’re separated.  Boetsch clinches and lands a leg kick on the break.  Lombard shakes off a Boetsch takedown attempt.  Two minutes remain in the round.  Lombard standing right in front of Boetsch.  Boetsch lands an outside leg kick.  Boetsch continues to work Lombard’s legs with kicks.  Lombard stuffs another takedown attempt.  The round ends.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Boetsch.

Round 2: Lombard moves in and Boetsch lands an outside leg kick.  Lombard lands a left hand.  Lombard lands a right hand.  They exchange and both miss with big shots.  Boetsch goes back to working the legs of Lombard.  Lombard lands an outside leg kick and Boetsch lands one of his own in response.  Lombard moves in with an uppercut that does not land.  Lombard lands a kick to the body that hurts Boetsch.  Lombard moves in and Boetsch drops down for a takedown.  Lombard stuffs it and gains top position.  Lombard lands a few short shots before Boetsch gets back to his feet.  Boetsch goes for another takedown but Lombard has none of it.  They work for position along the cage.  The round ends.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Lombard.

Round 3: Lombard takes the center of the cage.  He inches forward.  Boetsch bounces on the outside.  Boetsch lands an inside leg kick.  Lombard answers with one of his own.  Boetsch still working Lombard’s leg with kicks.  Boetsch attempts a superman punch.  Boetsch switches stances.  Boetsch gets a takedown attempt stuffed.  Two minutes remain in the round.  Boetsch clinches.  Lombard lands a trip takedown but Boetsch is on top.  They scramble back to their feet.  The crowd is booing.  Boetsch moves in and they clinch.  Lombard presses him against the cage and Lombard picks him up and slams him to the canvas.  Boetsch stands and delivers a hard knee to the body.  The crowd continues to boo.  The round ends.  MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Boetsch.

The judges score the fight for Boetsch by split decision.  The scorecards read: 29-28, 28-29, 29-28.

      unless you are a family memeber of Boetsch you are the only one this fight sounds good to. A main event of silva vs boetsch would result in a new record for the lowest pay per view buys!!
