Round 1: Campos lands an outside leg kick to get things started. Vanicius lands an outside leg kick. Campos delivers a kick to the groin and Vinicius is given time to recover. They restart. Campos pounces on him. Vanicius recovers but Campos advances to side control. Campos isolates an arm. He gives it up, changes sides and isolates the other arm. Campos lands short right hands. Vanicius works back to guard. Campos moves to half guard. He advances to side control. Vanicius lands punches and elbow from the bottom. He lands an up kick. MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Campos but he’s taking shots coming in on the ground.
Round 3: Campos delivers an outside leg kick but Vanicius checks it. Vanicius lands a flying knee to the body and a hard right hand. Vanicius has him out on his feet. He hits Campos with hooks and referee Herb Dean stops it.
