Round 1: They touch gloves and the middleweight final is underway.  Moraes moves in with a winging right hand that misses. Ferreira misses with a high kick.  Ferreira lands two left hands.  Ferreira delivers a solid knee to the body.  Moraes lands a hard kick to the body.  Ferreira is stalking him. Ferreira moves in with a combination.  Moraes lands a counter right hand. Ferreira lands a kick to the groin and Moraes is given time to recover.  Referee Herb Dean tells him to “Take your time.”  The fight is restarted.  Ferreira moves in and lands a combination and clinches. Round 2: Ferreira lands a straight left.  Moraes clinches and tries to pull guard but Ferreira has none of it and tells him to stand.  Ferreira lands a right hand and Moraes goes down. Hard to tell if it was a slip or not. Ferriera lands a wheel kick.  Moraes is bleeding.  Ferreira tells him to get up.  Moraes lands an inside leg kick and misses with a high kick.  Moraes tries to get the fight to the ground to no avail.  Ferriera beginning to take over the fight. Ferreira lands an uppercut.  Ferreira delivers a kick to the body.  Ferreira gets caught with a nasty elbow and is hurt.  Moraes pours it on.  Ferreira fires back.  The round ends. Round 3: They hug before the final round.  Ferreira moves in with an uppercut that hurts Moraes. Ferreira lets him up.  Ferreira works kicks to the legs. Moraes lands a right hand as Ferreira closed the distance.  Moraes rushes in with punches but Ferreira moves away.  Moraes lands a right hand as Ferreira comes in again. Moraes is the one moving forward now. Ferreira lands a straight right hand that puts Moraes on his butt.  He stands over him landing kicks to the legs.  The round ends.  MMAWeekly scores it 10-9 for Ferreira with the knock down. Great fight!
