The UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans fighter salaries were released by the Georgia State Athletic and Entertainment Commission on Wednesday.

The main event at Saturday’s event at Philips Arena in Atlanta featured UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones continuing his run through the light heavyweight contenders, with a five-round unanimous decision victory over Rashad Evans.

The following figures are based on the fighter salary information that promoters are required by law to submit to the state athletic commissions, including the winners’ bonuses.

Although mixed martial arts fighters do not have collective bargaining or a union, the fighters’ salaries are still public record, just as with every other major sport in the United States. Any undisclosed bonuses that a promoter also pays its fighters, but does not disclose to the athletic commissions (specifically, pay-per-view bonuses, fight of the night bonuses, etc.), are not included in the figures below.

Holy smokes! These are salaries for the minor leagues. UFC can do better than this…

    • bajafox

They probably can but you should blame the fighters, they’re the one’s who signed on the dotted line.

    • lonniebatt

dude they do not disclose all of the PPV incentives and thats because they have no way of finding that out… read the article about Hector Lombard signing with the UFC and that should let you know how inaccurate that figure is

    • frumps

      TKD, you’re such a troll.

      • lonniebatt

        yo! whats your excuse????

        • frumps

What? I’ve posted here about 10 times. If that qualifies as ‘trolling’, then you’re just too dumb to argue with.

          • TKD

@ frumps: We all appreciate that your mommy allows you some time on the family computer, but we are all pretty tired of you and your third grade wit. Ok, now it’s time for you to get off of the computer now so mommy can read you a bed time story, loser!

      • TKD

        frumps, you’re a queer!

salaries for the minor leagues? this is is per fight like Jon Jones fight 4 times a year he’ll make $1600000 a year, and we are talking about a fighter only in the ufc for 4 years, in boxing it would take a guy 10 years to make a million, most lower card boxers only make about 500-3000 a fight. UFC also includes win plus fight, ko, sub of the night bonus, so this isn’t terrible money

  • joshjosh

As much money as the UFC makes the main event fighters only made a combined $700,000. The UFC needs a company in the US that can compete wiht them. Dana White and Zuffa don’t pay thier fighters bleep compared to other sports. No wonder Brock wwent back to WWE.

    • lonniebatt

dude think about it, These fighters get paid alot in other ways,, and by the UFC,, do you honestly think that rashard can live in Boca Raton Florida, did you see his house in the pre fight show???? that house alone in Boca is well over 1mil.. and he makes 300k on a fight,,WRONG……. also the other fellow made a great point only the fans are complaining about purses…… did you hear Rashard say he got screwed……. lighten up find out the facts before you complain

    • lonniebatt

by the way go and read the article about Lombard signing with the UFC and read Bjron Rebnread what he says reasons his reasons for letting Lombard go and look at what he says about fighters salaries are based on PPV buys and that should enlighten you about their crappy paychecks……

    • lonniebatt

please excuse my screw up I was saying read what Bjron Rebney said he reason for letting Lombard go

  • jasonryans

Read the last paragraph, those aren’t the TOTAL figures that these fighters get. Dana White and multiples fighters have publicly stated that they get all kinds of bonuses after fights. Lorenzo and Dana will walk into dressing rooms and hand out $100,000 to $500,0000 like its nothing. Trust me them fighters get paid especially the top tier(Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, GSP). They make around 5 million a fight. I’m not making this stuff up, I used to think like that too until Dana, GSP and Frank Mir went on record talking about how much the fighers ACTUALLY MAKE

    • bajafox

That’s a good point. Funny how you hear most of the complaining about pay from the fans

  • phrankthetank

Some of the undercard fighters get paid their entire cheque again just as a bonusfor a good fight and the main event fighters are getting a piece of Ppv buys. Not to mention most fighters make at least their show money again in sponsorship money. The main event fighters aren’t paid like main event boxers but the undercard fighters can actually make a living unlike undercard boxers who make under 1000 bucks a fight.

  • Santz

Same complaining from people that know nothing of what some of these fighters really earn.

  • lonniebatt

You have to consider if all they were making was there salaries that are reported on by the media it would be impossible to train full time and not have to work annother job with the base fighter pay they wouldnt be able to pay trainers transportation for their corner people, lodging, etc… they are compensated alot better than alot of people think

  • Michael

That’s all they paid there guys for months of training LMAO wow i’d say the ufc is a bunch of money grabbing ungrateful jackovs maybe Dana and the bosses need to open their wallets a little more cheap bastards

  • Michael

they are not getting any more money out of me if thats all they pay thier guys f@#$ em
