The UFC 140 fight card in Toronto is now final with a middleweight bout added between Jared Hamman and Constantinos Philippou.
UFC officials announced the new bout on Tuesday.
After making the drop to middleweight, Jared Hamman (13-3) found success right away picking up a win over Ultimate Fighter runner-up C.B. Dollaway.
Hamman found himself in trouble early and often in the fight with Dollaway, but battled his way back and finished off the Arizona based fighter with strikes in the second round.
Now Hamman faces Matt Serra student Constantinos Philippou, who tries to capitalize on a win of his own in his last UFC fight.
Philippou debuted in the UFC on short notice back at UFC 128, but came up short against Nick Catone. In his second fight out, however, Philippou pulled off a mild upset, defeating Jorge Rivera by unanimous decision.
Now he’ll try to make it two in a row when he meets Hamman at UFC 140 in Toronto.
The bout between Hamman and Philippou rounds out the UFC 140 fight card, which now stands at 11 fights in total.
