At only 20 years of age, Michael McDonald truly fits the mold, not just of a prospect, but a phenom. Belying his age, McDonald has run rough shod through his opposition. With his 56-second victory over Alex Soto at UFC 139 on Saturday night, McDonald upped his record to a stunning 14-1.
But despite his success, McDonald doesn’t seem to take on a lot of outside pressure. He has his own formula for success.
“I know I have the ability to finish my opponents. So when I don’t, I’m disappointed in myself,” McDonald told MMAWeekly.com’s Erik Fontanez after the fight.
