Rafael “Sapo” Natal vs. Paul Bradley (middleweight)

Round 1: Bradley swinging big and wild early looking for power punches. Natal snaps Bradley’s head back with a stiff jab. Bradley’s nose is bloodied from the punch. Natal starts to look for kicks and Bradley comes over the top with a good punch. Bradley catches a kick from Natal but only for a moment and he gives up on the takedown. Bradley with a good combo and then slips in for a takedown but again can’t get Natal down. Natal slips an inside leg kick and Bradley fires back with two stiff punches. Close round comes to an end.

Bradley comes out firing in round two and clips Natal, sending him staggering backwards towards the cage. Bradley finally secures a takedown, landing in Natal’s half guard. Bradley looks for ground and pound, as Natal looks for a leg for a submission so Bradley immediately backs out and gets back to the feet. Natal stepping forward now getting more aggressive. Natal jumps in with a good punch, tagging Bradley. Natal shoots in for a moment and gets caught with a knee from Bradley. Natal still looking for leg kicks. As Bradley steps in for strikes, Natal puts his hand out and accidentally pokes him in the eye. The fight is restarted after a moment for Bradley to recover. Bradley secures another takedown with just seconds remaining in the round.

Round 3: Natal looking for kicks early which puts Bradley into takedown mode, but he can’t land it. Natal nailing the inside leg of Bradley, which is now very red from the continued punishment. Natal looks for a spinning backfist but just misses. Bradley tries to capitalize, but can’t get him down to the ground. Bradley gets a deep double leg but can’t finish and Natal stands him back up. Bradley goes for another takedown and is stuffed again. Bradley shoots in again as the fighters end up clinched against the cage. The ref separates them and back on the feet it appears another eye poke happens, but the referee doesn’t step in this time. Bradley gets a takedown, but Natal pops right back up. Close fight, tough call.
