Melvin Guillard entered his fight with Shane Roller on Saturday night with a chip on his shoulder. He believes he is in the upper echelon of the UFC’s 155-pound division and should be fighting the cream of the crop, if not for the title.
Guillard has reeled off five consecutive victories now, including Roller at the MGM Grand and fellow contender Evan Dunham.
He’s not lacking in the confidence department, believing he is the top dog at 155 pounds, and now Guillard would like a shot at the UFC lightweight title currently around Frankie Edgar’s waist.
Check out what Guillard had to say about Saturday night’s performance in Las Vegas, and where he believes his future should be headed.
