Roy Nelson knows what he’s in for when he faces former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir at UFC 130 on Saturday night in Las Vegas. He’s going up against a guy that can accelerate Nelson’s race to his ultimate goal… the UFC heavyweight championship.

“To put a former champion on my belt, it’s one of those roadblocks that I have to get through, so I can have a UFC belt,” said Nelson at the UFC 130 prefight press conference on Wednesday.
