UFC 130 Play-by-Play: Rafaello Oliveira vs. Gleison Tibau

Round 1: Oliviera and Tibau begin with the fighters trading shots patiently on the feet.  A nice left hand by Tibau later leads to a takedown which lands him in his opponent’s halfguard.  Tibau stacks his opponent, but the two get to the feet and Tibau lands a punch in the process.   The two patiently pick shots into the end of the opening round.

Round 2: The second round begins with Tibau moving forward and landing a stiff jab.  A one-two combo by Tibau leads to him eating an Oliveira jab.  Tibau gets the takedown and lands in his opponent’s guard.  Back on the feet, they clinch and Tibau lands a clean uppercut and drops Oliveira.  He rushes his opponent and mounts his back where he lands punches and sinks in the rear-naked-choke for the submission win.
