Round 1: Bocek shoots looking for a takedown, but Henderson stands him back up again. Some slow clinch work against the cage forces the referee to step in and put them back in the center of the cage. Bocek comes forward with a nice stiff straight punch and then works for the takedown, but again Henderson resists. Henderson comes back over the top with a nice left that connects. Bocek picks up a single leg and Henderson fires back with some punches, but eventually Bocek lifts up the leg and kicks out the other, landing the fighters on the mat. Bocek working from inside Henderson’s butterfly guard.

Round 2: Henderson lands some good punches as Bocek pushes forward. The Canadian is looking for a takedown against the cage. Henderson looks for a guillotine, Bocek escapes and it’s back to the feet. The fighters end up in the clinch again with little action so again the referee steps in to separate them. Henderson then grabs a quick takedown and then fends off an omo plata from the bottom. Bocek fights his way back to the feet. Bocek gets a front headlock and grabs a D’arce choke. Henderson gets out, but Bocek still has a guillotine. He drops down to try and secure it but Henderson slips out.

Ben Henderson and Mark Bocek at UFC 129Round 3: Henderson moves forward with strikes, but gives up a takedown to Bocek. Henderson has a guillotine choke from the bottom, but Bocek quickly gets out. Bocek is working inside Henderson’s guard, but Henderson reverses positions and gets on top of Bocek raining down shots. Now it’s Bocek with a reversal and he almost takes Henderson’s back but to no avail. Henderson lands a takedown, Bocek scrambles and looks for one of his own, but Henderson sprawls. On the escape, Henderson lands a nice knee and strikes. Beocek is undeterred as he again forces his way forward and grabs a takedown with less than a minute to go.
