The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Spike with the telecast of two preliminary bouts from the UFC 128: Shogun vs. Jones event emanating from New Jersey on March 19. MMAJunkie.com was the first to report the news, later independently confirmed by MMAWeekly.com sources.
The UFC 128 preliminary bout telecast will feature a light heavyweight contest pitting Luiz Cane (10-3) against Karlos Vemola (8-1), and Edson Barboza vs. Anthony Njokuani in a lightweight tilt.
UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch is getting the double treatment from the UFC, airing two fights on the UFC Facebook page and another two on ION Television in the U.S. There has been no word yet if the UFC will continue airing fights on Facebook for UFC 128, but it wouldn’t be out of the question as UFC 127 marks the third successive event that it has done so.
