Gabe Ruediger vs. Paul Taylor
Round 1: Ruediger throws an open hand strike and kick, but eats some heavy hands back from Taylor. They clinch up against the cage, Taylor driving knees to Ruedigers legs, but Ruediger turns Taylor and puts him against the fence briefly. They separate, Taylor landing a head kick and a strong punch combination to the body. The Brit then goes upstairs with a combo to the head, clinches and presses Ruediger into the cage again. They jockey for position along the fence, Taylor wrestling Ruediger to the mat, but allowing him to return to his feet. They clinch along the fence again, Ruediger landing a couple solid knees, but Taylor wrestles him to the mat again briefly before they return to a standing clinch. The referee separates them and Taylor again gets off some solid punches, followed shortly thereafter by a kick to the midsection. Ruediger catches another kick, but Taylor gets it back, pressing Ruediger to the fence and finishing with a flurry of punches and kicks. MMAWeekly.com scores round one 10-9 for Taylor.
Round 2: Taylor immediately rocks Ruediger with his powerful punch combinations. Ruediger is trying to fire back, but not with much zest. Taylor lands a solid leg kick then presses Ruediger into the fence again. They trade knees for a time before Taylor lights Ruediger up with right hooks, then drops him with a left kick square in the face.
