UFC 125 Prelim Bouts Air Live in US, UK, and Canada

Posted on by MMAWeekly.com Staff

The Ultimate Fighting Championship recently announced a network television deal to air three UFC 125 preliminary bouts live on network television via ION Television.

The promotion isn’t leaving its fans in Canada or the United Kingdom out in the cold, however. The UFC 125 preliminary fights featuring Marcus Davis vs. Jeremy Stephens, Josh Grispi vs. Dustin Poirier, and Phil Baroni vs. Brad Tavares, will air in all three locals, not just for U.S. fight fans.

Fans in Canada will receive all three fights on either Rogers Sportsnet East or Sportsnet Ontario. The United Kingdom receives the same line-up live, in the wee hours of the morning, on the UFC’s U.K. television partner ESPN.

Is it two fights or three? Everyone is saying it’s three but the ION site is saying two fights and it lists Poirier – Josh Grispi and Jeremy Stephens – Marcus Davis.
