Why do the judges always see something completely different from the rest of the arena?

  • Lord Abortion

I’ll have to see the fight to give a real opinion but I see this way too often. All the major sites will agree that the same guy won the fight based on their scores, yet the judges are always completely opposite. Win bonuses aren’t enough. Fighters shouldn’t have to fear every single decision that happens.

I agree with you completely. They need to come up with a better way to score and judge fights, so there is not so much discrepency (sp?). Not sure what that would look like though!

  • Deathexplosion

MMA judges suck and not a damn thing is ever gonna be done to improve the problem.according to guys like Keith Kizer, there is no problem.

    • packmaster

Great point! Until the athletic commissions see it as a problem, it’s a moot point.

  • Deathexplosion

it’s really is a shame.also the growth of MMA has alot to do with it.so many new states have sanctioned it over the past couple years, yet none of them have experienced judges, refs, that are needed.

It’s sad, Griffin really deserved this win.
