Brock Lesnar faces off with Cain Velasquez at UFC 121 weigh-ins.

In front of a packed house outside of the Honda Center, the fighters involved in UFC 121 weighed in with everyone making weight with no issues including the heavyweight title participants Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez.

With the crowd on his side and Mexican flags being waved, Cain Velasquez stayed focused and ready on the object at hand.

“I feel great,” Velasquez said. “Everybody expect a war.”

The champion Brock Lesnar got a few more boos from the California crowd, but looked as intense as ever, and when the stare down with Velasquez was finished, there was no shaking hands. Just a look like a fight was about to go down Saturday night.

“Brock Lesnar getting his hand raised,” the champion said when asked how he sees the fight going. “That’s exactly how it’s going to go.”

Co-main event fighter Jake Shields made it back to welterweight with seemingly no issues weighing in at 170 ½ lbs, with a smile on his face excited to make his UFC debut. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz also made weight for his fight against Matt Hamill looking shredded while also sporting a “Dana is my hero” t-shirt.

Many interesting fights on this card..

I love Cain but unfortunately Brock is a monster and that extra strength and power will be the difference. Cain has to land thousands of punches Brock just has to land 3 or 4.. odds are in the big mans corner.

Also looking to see the Hybrid vs **Gonzaga**..
    **Shields** v Kampman
    **Thiago** v Sanchez
    **Cote** v Lawler

I’ve starred up who I think will win..

Anyways have always been a big fan of mmaweekly.. you guys definitely needed an overhaul.. you were starting to lagg behind the competition.. this is a welcome change.

Looks like doctormma needs to back to medical school. At least you didn’t incorectly pick the Ortiz fight.

I’ve had bad picks too though – and agree on mmaweekly’s site – looks sharp!
